Eventful weekend.

This weekend is ROOTS at Jackson's Point-- we've got a good handful of people heading out there for a weekend to seek God's face... not that it should just be for one weekend.. ah you know what I mean!
Pray that the group that is going from London is attentive to the LORD's Spirit and heeds the call-- lives will be changed!

Josh and I head over to Glenhuron to facilitate some worship for the staff orientation.
Please pray that we are faithful servants of the LORD and that the staff will present themselves as offerings to our Provider.

Deep Peace.

where your faith grows.

London has been a place of serious faith leaps.
Right when things seem to be running smoothly, it seems to come straight back to a time of complete reliance on Jehovah Jireh.
I'll tell ya, it is really hard to walk through it... BUT on the other end I see huge growth and am shocked most of the time. Like now for instance, both Josh and I are out of jobs all at once, along with that comes all the questions and issues arise... But through most of it we have had such a sense of peace and calm. I can remember back to when the first situation like this arose and there was more of a freak out than now, for sure. God is good. We know he will provide, it is just a matter or being able to be content in the waiting. Because it is in the waiting that your faith grows-- without the waiting there is no need for our faith to grow, we would probably forget to thank God for the new job... it would seem like another day.
But within the waiting we depend deeply on God and come to that place where God's the God and we are the man.

Please pray that we would be willing to walk with God through his plan-- even though they are much bigger than we can see. "Where he leads we will follow..."

Deep Peace.

A Reflection

Check this out:

"Be diligent to know the state of your flocks,
And attend to your herds;
For riches are not forever,
Nor does a crown endure to all generations.
When the hay is removed, and the tender grass shows itself,
And the herbs of the mountains are gathered in,
The lambs will provide your clothing,
And the goats the price of a field;
You shall have enough goats' milk for your food,
For the food of your household,
And the nourishment of your maidservants."
-Proverbs 27:23-27

Seems like a picture of the Body of Christ, doesn't it?
We need to take care of one another- be accountable to one another- make sure we are spiritually healthy.
Each one has a role to play for the whole Body to survive.
interesting, I thought.

Deep Peace.

What's Going On Here

Sorry it has been such a long time in between posts-- I usually don't have a whole bunch to say or to update you on. Here's what I can think of:

We are so glad to have Ian and Dawn from The War College's Revolution session here with us guaranteed for the summer. We already love them both to bits and love seeing Jesus move through them. Right on.

Dan has been on some travels lately-- in and out-- but we are glad to have him back in tonight.

Elaine is hard working at the Court house here-- where she breaks down walls of injustice.

Ian is stirring it up in Vancouver for B.T.I.-- "Fire in the enemy's camp!"

Josh will be moving on from his "Manny" job.. we have yet to see what God has in store next.

Geoff is still pounding away at the Centre of Hope, people love him there-- DUH!

I believe Aurora is looking for some work at the moment after working as a warrior nanny.

Ryan, Tasha and Gabe have moved into their new home and started some renovations. They headed out to England for some visits and then they will be back with us soon..

I am still working as the Superintendent at our apartment building where God is teaching me how to listen and serve others with love.

There are so many other people I could tell you about-- God is good.

We all continue to meet with new people and pour into lives-- are hearts are here in London as God has called us here.
Thank you for your continued support.

Pray for more and more Love.

Deep Peace.

24-7

Hey all-- so here is the latest scoop:

We are currently working on renting an apartment to facilitate a 24-7 Prayer Room in.
So we are waiting for members of our community to pray about how much they can invest each month so that we can keep it running.

So when you think about us, could you keep the possibility of the prayer room in your prayers..
Thanks a bundle.

Deep Peace.
