Welcome to 614 London

Hi there and welcome to our blog!
Hmmm...where do we start? Perhaps we should start by saying 'who' we are. We are a group of people, each from different parts of Canada (and beyond), who have come together in the great city of London, Ontario, where we live and work in the community. A couple of years ago, many of us had never met, but now we are a family of Christian believers, always looking to expand our ranks of brothers and sisters! Some would call us a church plant, some would call us a Christian community, some would call us an incarnational ministry, some would call us crazy (and many do!!). We call ourselves '614 London'; a title which originates from the Bible, in Isaiah 61:4, which talks of rebuilding, restoring and renewing the devastated places. In a nutshell, that's our goal for the city of London. To rebuild where there are ruins, and to restore and renew where there is devastation. Sometimes, this work will be physical rebuilding, sometimes it will take the shape of emotional restoration and almost always, it will require spiritual renewal!
This blog is our attempt to journal some of the events, thoughts, prayers, and observations of some of the members of 614 London. Over the coming days and weeks, each of us will have an opportunity to introduce ourselves to you and share our stories. This is our journey together and we invite you to join us on this adventure!
